Exciting new opportunity: In-person English-speaking kick-off event!
The NPO Frauennetzwerk is branching out to English-speaking women in Vienna. German speaking NPO ladies are also welcome (it really does not matter if your English is not perfect!).
We welcome our members to reach out and invite friends and colleagues from the NGO sector to join this event to network, learn from each other, and stay informed on future English-speaking events in Vienna!
We will embrace a warm welcome from FOUR PAWS at the international NGO’s headquarters! We will then hear from our Board member, Ulla Pavlicek, about this new chapter in our network and how we will start embracing new English-speaking members. The topic of the evening will be about how NGOs can promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Teresa Riosa, DEI Specialist at FOUR PAWS, will share information about FOUR PAWS‘ DEI initiative and open a space for an exchange between those in other NGOs.
After the presentation, there will be an informal networking opportunity for everyone to branch out and meet new contacts in the NGO sphere.
There will be non-alcoholic drinks and small snacks provided. We are excited to see you!
About Teresa Riosa:
Teresa is the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) specialist at FOUR PAWS International and in this role leads the DEI initiative. By fostering an inclusive organizational culture and taking on projects with this goal in mind, Teresa works to unleash the wonderful potential of FOUR PAWS‘ diverse workforce. These projects include coordinating the DEI Networks (Women, Parents, Neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+) as well as the DEI Team of nearly 30 internal volunteers, facilitating interactive workshops, moderating inclusive leadership programs, and much more. As FOUR PAWS continues to embrace diversity and inclusion, Teresa looks forward to 2024 with many new DEI projects in the making. Teresa has previous experience as a gender consultant and in the field of somatic practices, which she loves to integrate into her work at FOUR PAWS.
